the seventh inning, but the Crimson Tide homered in the seventh to
defeat Tech 3-2. The Yellow Jackets responded with a 3-1 victory over
Hofstra. The rest of the tournament was washed out.
Sophomore catcher Savannah Brown leads the offensive charge for the Jackets. Brown is hitting .438, with two doubles, one home run and 10 runs batted in.
In the circle, sophomore right-handed pitcher Whitney Humphreys leads the way with a 4-1 record. Humphreys has 28 strikeouts in 30.2 innings pitched, and carries a 2.05 earned run average.
