inDECATUR was selected as a pilot blog for Regator (a unique worldwide blog aggregator, developed in Decatur) and has been doing what it can to promote Regator ever since.
Last night, Regator held a launch party [of it's "Public Beta"] at PASTE, with about 150 (rough visual guesstimate - update: Regator says over 200) attending.
The hosts were the development team: Scott Lockhart, Chris Turner, and Kimberly Turner. See their photos and bios (from the press package) in the continuation.
Regator now links to about 3800 blogs (selected or approved by Kimberly), with a goal of 12K. You can intuitively browse nearly 500 categories in Regator's hierarchy of channels. For instance, to read what posters are saying about Atlanta, you select Local Interest > US > Atlanta.

Some members of BOD [Bloggers of Decatur -- see complete list in sidebar] were in attendance:
One of the famous Chillettes was also there, but I didn't know it when we had the photo taken.
Nick @ Decatur Metro prefers to maintain his anonymity. We'll see how long that lasts.
Some AJC and CL writers/reporters who live in Decatur were also not in attendance (or at least I didn't see them).
Ryan Purcell took lots of photos with his big camera. They should be posted at his Oh Snap Kid site soon. [Caution: mature content] UPDATE: Here they are. (Yours truly didn't make the cut.)
Here's Leila of Five Points, Amanda Brown of Atlanta Magazine, and Meg:

UPDATE: Regator has now posted a slideshow of some of the more attractive (or strange or animated) attendees posing with the mascot "Reg."
