El Tosoro is great place to take the kids
El Tosoro has a fenced yard in which kids can play.

It's great that families with young kids have a place to go where the kids can run around without bothering adults trying to have a calm meal.
Those of us who find running kids annoying in a restaurant environment can simply go elsewhere, or eat out later when the kids are back home.
The most unnerving thing about kids at the Corner Pub is the way some parents let them run back and forth across the entry/exit lane in the parking lot (where some drive too fast). I fully expect to see, or hear about, a terrible accident there one day.
UPDATE in the continuation
------------
Decatur Metro picked up on this, and there are some interesting comments there. Check out this one from Bill:
It is too kid friendly. From the times I have been there from what I can tell, parents use this place as an excuse to get drunk and let their kids run around uncontrollably. Get a baby sitter!
Last week, sitting on the deck, I observed a full scale touch football game break loose on the lawn. With the parents leading the cheers while younger kids were beating up even younger kids while their parents just looked on.
They need to get this under control, quick, or they are going to lose a great portion of their business who doesn’t want to babysit other parents kids when they are trying to have a night out.
In this old blogger's opinion, there are probably enough families with kids to keep El Tosoro in business. Those of us who prefer to dine without the distraction of kids running around and yelling will be better off if those with kids and no baby sitters frequent El Tesoro, as we go elsewhere. It's a win-win situation for all.
