Wordsmiths to add coffee shop and used book section

Zach @ Wordsmiths has delivered a State of the Bookstore address, stating how far they've come in 2007 (their first year), and how much further they plan to go in 2008. Two planned additions are a coffee shop with cafe items and a used book section:
"The inclusion of a café of our own design, with a full product line of coffee, cappuccino, cold beverages, baked goods, and assorted other goodies of the tasty consumption variety will not only bring to the community a comfortable, relaxing opportunity to read and caffeinate, it will also enhance the experience for customers attending our already steady event business. This is, almost by default, a necessary expansion and one that we truly need to make immediately. We have worked diligently over the past six months to make it a reality, and have nearly closed in on several deals to make it happen, but now we must move forward and bring this vital component to our store immediately as we enter into the New Year.
Another vital component and one that I have heard repeated requests for is a department of used books. Not only will this better serve our in-store customers, but it will also offer a nice launch into the online business, where annual sales of used books have continued to grow steadily. We are looking to launch the used book component of the business by January of 2008, with an expansion of electronic components, fixtures and some refinement to the basement in which it will be housed."

This blogger was told a couple of months ago the building (which was the Decatur P.O. while this old blogger grew up in Decatur) was under contract and they were guaranteed they'd be tennants, but the FOR SALE sign is still on the corner, with no UNDER CONTRACT rider.

I thought that was the old post office. My dad was postmaster when they did the transition from this building to the new one.
