Resolve to exercise, get in shape, and lose weight in 2008
If you weight in pounds is more than 2.5 times your height in inches, you are overweight, and you should resolve and plan to do something about it in 2008, for your own good, and those who care about you. (This blogger has to lose 9 lbs, and hopes to lose 14.)
Bishop Jonathan Alvarado and his wife Toni, the Pastors of Total Grace Christian Center in Decatur, GA recently completed a 12-week program customized by Bonnie Mechelle, and are now 20 pounds lighter than they were when they started in August.
Bonnie Mechelle's Christian Total Wellness Program provides a variety of in-home training styles like martial arts, Pilates and dance. Services also include cooking lessons, nutritional and well being counseling, along with delicious meal deliveries.
"Working with Bonnie has been one of the most life changing
experiences I've had concerning my nutritional and physical health,"
reports Toni Alvarado.
As busy pastors of a 5,000-member
congregation, the Alvarados hired Bonnie Mechelle at the onset of a
health series they were teaching at their church. Practicing what they
preach is easier now and church members have also lost weight. Time is
saved with the family's customized meal plans and the two are even
beginning to see changes in their children's eating habits.

Having shed 100 pounds herself, Bonnie Mechelle is better able to help others with her comprehensive weight loss system. Her goal is to get ministers to understand that their calling includes modeling good health before their congregation, and to help executives and professionals get a good start on their New Year's resolutions to get in shape and adopt better eating habits.
Bonnie Mechelle, The Wellness Coach, is available for guest spots; quotes about health; wellness; obesity; and interviews. To learn more about the Bonnie Mechelle Christian Total Wellness Program, visit www.bonniemechelle.com or call 678-760-6681.

You can't control what you cannot, or do not measure. Buy a bathroom scale and weigh yourself EVERY morning when you arise, in the nude (to avoid the variable weight of clothes and shoes). Expect 2-3 lb. fluctuations day to day, and don't pay any attention to them. Enter it in an Excel spreadsheet. Calculate a 10-day average (preferably weighted, with more weight on later dates). Plot the 10 days averages to see if you are improving or "deproving." If the weighted average is trending upward, you MUST either EAT LESS (and/or better) or EXERCISE MORE.
