Rusty Humphries interview with Andrew Wordes in late Feb, 2012

Andrew Wordes fought the City of Roswell, GA (a suburb of Atlanta) over his right to raise chickens on his property, beginning in May, 2009, earning the moniker "the Chicken Man."  At one time, he had nearly 200 chickens. His problems escalated.  Flooding added to his woes.

In late February, 2012, he suceeded in being interviewed by Rusty Humphries on his afternoon talk show on 640 WGST in Atlanta. In the interview, he expressed his frustrations.  It's 8 1/2 minutes long, including most of Rusty's introductory comments. Click on the bar to hear it.

On Monday, 3/26/2012, faced with foreclosure eviction, Mr. Wordes called an AJC reporter, telling him to watch what was about to happen. He poured gasoline in the house and lit it, resulting in an explostion and fire. His body was found in the house.  Here's the AJC report.

I am absolutely OUTRAGED that there is not a NATIONAL CRY against the Roswell Georgia "government" who clearly drove this dear simple man utterly MAD over a excruiatingly painful four years.

Where is the OUTCRY??!! WHY IS THIS ON EVERY NEWS CHANNEL like the Trayvon thing was???? This man was clearly railroaded from the very beginning so that the corrupt local gov could secure his land ILLEGALLY!!!

My grandmother lost her Roswell property years ago back in the early 70s because of a false piece of paper that was supposedly signed over to a crew of builders building new condo's in Roswell. The money that the Roswell city put into upholding the falsification of that document was amazing. They WANTED my grandmother's property with it's three beautiful lakes, and THEY were going to get it!! Without a care in the world, Roswell and it's banking buddies, took property away from two elderly people and left them with nothing. I guess Roswell is just a crummy town with crummy officials. Sorry Roswell, but don't you think someone should look into this recent mess? They obviously have a history of getting what they want by unlawful means.

Very, very wicked what those scums did to the poor man. Don't worry because they will be judged by God for the evil sins they committed.
