World designed by Viruses?

A monstrous discovery suggests that viruses, long regarded as lowly evolutionary latecomers, may have been the precursors of all life on Earth.

Hmmm. That might explain some developments I can't understand.

Coincidentally, I was up half the night ridding my computer of a very annoying man-made computer virus named "SpyFalcon" which bombards you with warnings your computer is infected in an effort to lure you to its website to buy its software, to protect you from itself, I suppose.  It's almost impossible to get anything done with that thing annoying you. I have full Symantec protection, and it didn't catch it. I hope you never run into it. Virus hackers are terrorists, and should be shot on sight!

Also, those who post spam comments to blogs! (Just had to delete one for the second time).
