An update of the story posted here this morning gives Decatur very bad news:

Police identified a teen killed in a drive-by shooting as a Decatur High School student.
Mikel Pittard, 17, died early Sunday after a shooting at Memorial Drive and I-285, DeKalb County Police spokeswoman Mekka Parish said Monday.
Pittard was a junior at Decatur High. He played basketball in middle school, Decatur Athletic Director Carter Wilson said.
