Bin Laden sees Iraq as critical, not a "distraction"

In his latest tape, Osama bin Laden stresses the importance of Iraq; contradicting those in the US who would label the war in Iraq a "distraction."

Calling the result a "great catastrophe," he urges Muslims to fight rather than bargain and work towards “half-solution” to cease continued aggression.

"Stay steadfast and don't leave Baghdad, otherwise all the capitals in the region will fall to the crusaders," he said, referring to the U.S.-led coalition.

Sounds like he and the gang are planning on moving to Somalia, where he hope to have a safe haven.

Don't count on it!
