You know the Abu Ghriab prison abuse scandal has Jumped the Shark when Photoshops of Lyndie England start popping up. I saw one today of a warning sign with her silouette on it, cig dangling, fingers pointing, thumbs up....
Exactly! The shock value has been used up. It's old news now. If photos of Lynndie England getting it on with a Camel show up, we'll YAWN.
We'll prosecute the guilty to the full extent of the law, and we'll move on to establish a free, capitalistic society in the heart of the Mideast, as a model of how good things can be.
The World can accept that we've dealt with it, or not. We don't care. If anyone cannot see the difference between sawing a guy's head off (and not being criticized for it) and snapping frat hazing type photos (and getting court martialed for it), we're not going to bother trying to explain the difference to them. They are either with us in the war against Radical Islamic Terrorism, or they are against us. We are the New Romans, the World's only SUPER POWER, and we know we're the good guys.
